Discovering Japanese iced tea

Japan has always been a source of fascination for Maud, as much for its culture as for its art of living and its gastronomy. It was during one of her many trips that she discovered a unique iced tea, at once fresh, light, calorie-free and unsweetened.

Enough of overly sweet teas!

Most drinks on the French market are rich in added sugars, additives and sweeteners. That's why we decided to create a range of organic green tea drinks inspired by the refined tastes of Japan. Kappa Tea is intended for tea lovers who are looking for a healthy and natural alternative to sugary drinks.

Our drink is made entirely from natural, sustainable and high-quality ingredients.

✨ The key point of our recipe:
preserve the natural taste of tea! ✨

Our recipe highlights the perfect balance between the sweetness and freshness of the tea, while preserving its slight bitterness, for a tasting that is both authentic and unique.

Kappa Tea is a journey that takes you to the heart of Japan! 🇯🇵

Before becoming a beverage, green tea was long considered a medicinal drink. Since the dawn of time, Japanese monks have consumed matcha to improve their concentration during meditation. In Japan, the tea ceremony is considered a true religion based on simplicity, purity and harmony, embodying the Japanese art of living.

The Legend of the Kappa

What is a Kappa?

In the family of yokai, Japanese mythological creatures, the kappa is one of the most feared characters of the Edo period, along with the Kitsune and the Tengu.

This demon from Japanese folklore has a large place in Japanese culture. It is described as a water genie or imp because it seeks to attract people and animals into the water.

It has the appearance of an anthropomorphic turtle with a beak-like mouth. This magical figure, which has become a mascot in Japan, is very present in Japanese art, manga, anime and popular literature.
